The terms that govern my guided tours

Last updated: 12 July 2026

1. Who I am

These terms govern the guided tour services provided by:

Filip Huta – Blue Fox Tours
Registered address: TODO_ADDRESS
IČO (Business ID): TODO_ICO
Licensed Prague tour guide (Tour Guide ID, class II)
Email: info@bluefoxtours.cz | Phone: +420 773 537 656

I provide guiding services only. I am not a travel agency or tour operator within the meaning of Czech Act No. 159/1999 Sb.; I do not sell package tours, accommodation, or transport. Where a tour involves public transport (for example, the train to Terezín), fares are paid by you directly and are not part of my service — I simply help you buy the right tickets and travel with you.

2. What you're booking

All tours are private: your group and me. Each tour's page states its duration, route, what is included in the price, and what is not. Unless a tour page says otherwise, prices do not include food, drinks, transport fares, or admission fees. Prices are quoted in EUR per group, not per person, according to the group-size tiers on each tour page.

Routes and content may be adjusted on the day for weather, closures, crowds, or your group's interests — that flexibility is a feature of a private tour, not a defect. The substance of the tour will always be delivered.

3. How booking works

  1. You send a booking request through the website form, by email, or by WhatsApp.
  2. I confirm availability and details in writing, normally within 24 hours.
  3. The contract between us is concluded when I send you a written confirmation of your booking.

If you book through a third-party platform (Viator, GetYourGuide, or similar), that platform's booking, payment, and cancellation terms apply to your booking instead of sections 3–5 of these terms.

4. Payment

For direct bookings, payment is due at the end of the tour, in cash (CZK or EUR) or by card via SumUp (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay — see the Contact page for the current list). For the Theresienstadt tour, admission fees are included in the price and covered by me.

5. Cancellations and changes

By you: You may cancel or request to reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour's start time. For cancellations less than 24 hours before the start, or if you do not show up, I reserve the right to charge 100% of the tour price. Arriving late reduces your tour time; if you have not arrived within 30 minutes of the agreed start and I cannot reach you, the booking is treated as a no-show.

By me: If I must cancel — illness, family emergency, or conditions that would make the tour unsafe — I will tell you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative date or a full refund of anything you have paid. Tours run in rain or shine; please dress for the weather. I am not responsible for delays or cancellations of public transport, or for unexpected closures of third-party sites, though I will always do my best to adapt the itinerary so you still get a full experience.

Statutory withdrawal right: Under § 1837(j) of the Czech Civil Code (implementing EU consumer law), the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date — which is what a tour booking is. Your cancellation rights are those described above, which are more generous than the legal minimum.

6. Your part of the deal

You are responsible for your own safety, belongings, and travel insurance, and for following basic safety guidance during the tour (we will be walking on cobblestones, across busy streets, and in crowded places). Children remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults at all times, including at playgrounds visited during the Prague with Children Tour. Please tell me in advance about any mobility limitations or, for the children's tour, allergies — snacks are pre-packaged and agreed with parents beforehand (see the Privacy Policy for how allergy information is handled).

I may end a tour without refund in the extreme case of aggressive, unlawful, or severely intoxicated behavior that makes the tour impossible to deliver safely. In fifteen years of guiding I have never needed this clause; it exists so that we both know where we stand.

7. Tour materials

Worksheets, booklets, brochures, and all tour content and commentary are my intellectual property. They are yours to keep and enjoy as a participant, but may not be reproduced or distributed commercially without my permission. Audio or video recording of the full tour for publication requires my prior consent — photos and short clips for personal use and social media are always welcome.

8. Complaints and disputes

If anything about your tour disappoints you, please tell me — ideally during or right after the tour, when I can still fix it, or by email afterwards. I take this seriously; it's a one-person business and my reputation is the whole company.

If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute between ourselves, you have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, ČOI), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Praha 1, www.coi.cz / adr.coi.cz. You may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Governing law

These terms and any contract between us are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of protections granted by the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

10. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this website at the moment of your booking confirmation is the one that applies to your booking.
